warm home
It works well alongside your current heating system and doesn't require major renovations, unlike geothermal heating.

How to prepare for the energy crisis
Let's invite the guys from LämpöWat to the site !
From oil heating to an energy-efficient air-to-water heat pump!
Pasi Kemppainen decided to give up his old oil heating system and switch to a modern, energy-efficient solution. He chose Daikin's high-quality air-to-water heat pump, which provides reliable and consistent heat all year round - and significant savings on energy costs. At the same time, the option of using wood heating as a supplementary heat source was retained, providing flexibility and security of heating.
Omawat's installers will swiftly remove the old oil heating system and install the new heat pump in one day. The work was carried out in a planned and tidy manner, as our customer expected.
After the first month, Pasi was already happy with his decision:
"The heat in the home is now much more even in every room than before, and there has been enough running water every time I've needed to take a shower."
Now Kemppainen's home enjoys comfortable and even heat, lower heating costs and a more ecological everyday life - without the worry of oil.

Frequently asked questions
air-source heat pumps
The price of an air-to-water heat pump depends on the pump itself and the size of the property (usually €1,500–3,000). As an investment, it pays for itself in a few years, since you’ll save hundreds of euros a year on heating costs.
When compared directly to electric heating, an air-source heat pump can typically reduce a home’s heating costs by about 30–50 percent—and sometimes even more.
Yes. Modern air-source heat pumps designed for Nordic conditions also operate in severe cold, even at temperatures as low as approximately –25…–35 °C, depending on the model.
However, in extreme cold, efficiency and heating output decrease, so a separate, dedicated home heating system is usually needed in addition.
An air-to-water heat pump is connected to a property’s water circuit, so it acts as a whole-house heating system, rather than blowing air to one specific place in the property like an air-to-water heat pump. An air-to-water heat pump can also be used to heat domestic hot water.
